This Privacy Policy was last updated on April 1, 2017. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes in our Privacy Policy will be effective immediately. If you are a regular visitor to this Service, we recommend that you check this Privacy Policy on a regular basis. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use and transfer of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use this Service.
Information Voluntarily Provided by You
We may collect information that our visitors, users and members volunteer to us, including but not limited to name, date of birth, postal address, e-mail address, telephone numbers, cell phone numbers, gender, household information, consumption habits, product usage, attitudes and preferences regarding our products and other personal information (collectively, “Personal Information”). We collect the Personal Information you provide directly to us, such as when you create or modify your account, request on-demand services, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. Any Personal Information you send us will be used for the purpose indicated on the Service or as stated in this policy.
Upon registration with our Service (either as a consumer, partner or driver), a user profile is developed to further customize the user’s experience. The current required data fields are:
- Password
- Name
- Mobile Number
- Credit Card Number
- Billing Address
- Expiration date & Security Code
- Automobile make, model, color, type of gasoline license plate
In addition, tracking information is collected as you navigate through or use the Service, including, but not limited to geographic areas. When you use the Service, we collect precise location data about the location of the vehicle from the LEUF app used by the User. If you permit the LEUF app to access location services through the permission system used by your mobile operating system (“platform”), we may also collect the precise location of your device when the app is running in the foreground or background. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address. If you are traveling in a vehicle ordered via the Service, the driver’s mobile phone will record your GPS coordinates. Most GPS enabled mobile devices can define one’s location to within 50 feet. We collect this information in order to calculate your fuel cost.
Upon request or use of our Service, we collect transaction details, including the type of service requested, date and time the service was provided, amount charged, product supplied, and other related transaction details. Additionally, if someone uses your promo code, we may associate your name with that person. Further, our Service facilitates communications between Users and our delivery drivers (“Driver”). In connection with facilitating this Service, we receive call data, including the date and time of the call or SMS message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of the SMS message.
We also collect device type and unique identifier when you use our mobile application. We use this information for the sole purpose of providing you with the most up to date application and features. You may also choose to upload a photo while using the site or application. If you wish to do so, this may be viewable by the drivers who are delivering your fuel so that they are able to verify your automobile. You may remove it or update it at anytime by logging into your account. If you use our Service through your mobile device, we will track your geo-location information so that you are able to set your automobile location, and the drivers are able to find the location in which you wish to fill up your automobile.
To help us serve your needs better, we use “cookies” to store and sometimes track user information. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies can be disabled or controlled by setting a preference within your web browser.
Users of the Service should be aware that non-personal information and data may be automatically collected by virtue of the standard operation of the Company’s computer servers or through the use of “cookies”. Cookies are files a website can use to recognize repeat users, and allow a website to track web usage behavior. Cookies take up minimal room on your computer and cannot damage your computer’s files. Cookies work by assigning a number to the user that has no meaning outside of the assigning website. Users should be aware that the Company cannot control the use of cookies (or the resulting information) by third-parties. If you do not want information to be collected through the use of cookies, your browser allows you to deny or accept the use of cookies. There may, however, be some features of the Service which require the use of cookies in order to customize the delivery of information to you.
The use of third party cookies is not covered by our privacy policy. We do not have access or control over these cookies.
Important Information about Platform Permissions
Most mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) have defined certain types of device data that apps cannot access without your consent. These platforms have different permission systems for obtaining your consent. The iOS platform will alert you the first time the LEUF mobile app requests permission to access certain types of data and will let you consent (or not consent) to that request. Android devices will notify you of the permissions that the LEUF app seeks before you first use the app; however, your use of the app constitutes your consent. If you initially permit the collection of location information, you can later disable it by changing the location settings on your mobile device. However, this will limit your ability to use certain features of our Service. Additionally, disabling our app’s collection of precise location from your device will not limit our ability to collect service location information from a Driver’s device nor our ability to derive approximate location from your IP address.
Information We Collect from Other Sources
We may also receive information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Service. For example, if you choose to link, create, or log in to your LEUF account with a payment provider (e.g., Google Wallet) or social media service (e.g., Facebook), or if you engage with a separate app or website that uses our API (or whose API we use), we may receive information about you or your connections from that site or app.
In addition, if your employer uses one of our enterprise solutions, we may receive information about you from your employer.
Use of Personal Information
Our primary goal in collecting information is to provide you with an enhanced experience when using the Service. LEUF does not share your personally identifiable information with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes unless you provide us with consent to do so.
We use this information to closely monitor which features of the Service are used most, to allow you to view your fuel fill up history, store your credit card information on a secure page, view any promotions we may currently be running, and to determine which features we need to focus on improving, including usage patterns and geographic locations to determine where we should offer or focus services, features and/or resources. We use tracking and other personal information collected to send or facilitate communications (i) between you and a Driver, such as estimated times of arrival (ETAs), status of refueling, location and make of your vehicle, or (ii) between you and a contact of yours at your direction in connection with your use of certain features, such as referrals, invites, or Service sharing. We use the mobile information collected so that we are able to serve you the correct app version depending on your device type, for troubleshooting and in some cases marketing purposes. We use the credit card information you provide us to bill you for services.
We may use the information collected to send you communications we think will be of interest to you, including information about products, services, promotions, news, and events of LEUF and other companies, where permissible and according to local applicable laws; and to process contest, sweepstake, or other promotion entries and fulfill any related awards.
We may transfer the information described in this Policy to, and process and store it in, the United States and other countries, some of which may have less protective data protection laws than the region in which you reside. Where this is the case, we will take appropriate measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Policy.
Sharing of Information
We may share the information we collect about you as described in this Policy or as described at the time of collection or sharing, including as follows:
Our Service may share your information with Drivers to enable them to provide the Services you requested or with third parties to provide you a service you requested through a partnership or promotional offering made by a third party or us.
We may share information with the general public if you submit content in a public forum, such as blog comments, social media posts, or other features of our Services that are viewable by the general public.
Our Service may share information with third parties with whom you choose to let us share information, for example other apps or websites that integrate with our API or Services, or those with an API or Service with which we integrate.
If you participate in any of our enterprise solutions, our Service may share information with your employer (or similar entity) and any necessary third parties engaged by us or your employer (e.g., an expense management service provider)
Agents and Service Providers
We sometimes contract with other companies and individuals to perform functions or services on our behalf. They may have access to Personal Information needed to perform their functions, but are restricted from using the Personal Information for purposes other than providing services for us.
Business Transfers
In the event that our business is transferred to or merged with another company or entity, your Personal Information may be transferred to another company or entity that is part of the business transfer or merger.

We may share your information with LEUF subsidiaries and affiliated entities that provide services or conduct data processing on our behalf, or for data centralization and / or logistics purposes; with vendors, consultants, marketing partners, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf; and/or in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company
If we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or is otherwise required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process, we may share information in response to a request for information by a competent authority, including law enforcement officials, government authorities, or other third parties or if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our Terms of Use or other policies, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LEUF or others;
We may also share information if we otherwise notify you and you consent to the sharing and/or in an aggregated and/or anonymized form which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Customer Service Communication
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes.
Promotional Communication
You may opt out of receiving promotional messages from us by following the instructions in those messages. If you opt out, we may still send you service-related announcements, such as those about your account, about Services you have requested, or our ongoing business relations.
Service-related Announcements
We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email.
Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.
Social Sharing Features
Our Service includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
The Service may integrate with social sharing features and other related tools which let you share actions you take on our Service with other apps, sites, or media, and vice versa. Your use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the social sharing service. Analytics and Advertising Services Provided by Others
We may allow others to provide audience measurement and analytics services for us, to serve advertisements on our behalf across the Internet, and to track and report on the performance of those advertisements. Pixel Tags
We and our service providers may also use so-called “pixel tags,” “web beacons,” “clear GIFs” or similar means (collectively, “Pixel Tags”) in connection with some Site pages and HTML-formatted e-mail messages to, among other things, compile aggregate statistics about Service usage and response rates. A Pixel Tag is an electronic image, often a single pixel (1×1), that is ordinarily not visible to Service visitors and may be associated with Cookies on the visitors’ hard drives. When used in HTML-formatted e-mail messages, Pixel Tags can tell the sender whether and when the e-mail has been opened.
Access to Personal Information
If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, delete inaccuracies, or amend it by making the change on our member information page or by emailing us at support@leuffuel.com. We will respond to your access request within 30 days.
We will retain your information (including geo-location) for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at support@leuffuel.com.
We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
California Privacy Rights
California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their information is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. LEUF does not share your personally identifiable information with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes unless you provide us with consent to do so.
E-mails to Friends
In the event that we offer the functionality to permit you to send messages regarding Site-related, Service and/or mobile app content to a friend through the Site or app, you may provide us with your friend’s e-mail address so that we can facilitate your sending a message to your friend; provided, however, that we reserve the right to refuse to facilitate the message for any reason, including without limitation restrictions placed on this functionality by your jurisdiction or that of your friend. LEUF, Inc. may retain your friend’s email address but will use your friend’s address only as described in this Privacy Policy and will not send additional promotional messages to your friend unless your friend registers with us (or has registered previously). Please note that any personal data you provide in connection with your request to send messages to your friend may be disclosed to your friend.
Children Under the Age of 13
The Company cares about the safety of children. Because the Service is not directed toward kids, children under 13 are not allowed to register with or use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information immediately.
Security
The personally identifiable and geo-location information we collect is securely stored within our database, and we use standard, industry-wide, commercially reasonable security practices such as encryption, firewalls and SSL (Secure Socket Layers) for protecting your information (credit card number and geo-location information). However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet, and any information you transmit to the Company you do at your own risk. We recommend that you not disclose your password to anyone.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. These linked websites are not under LEUF Inc’s, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the contents of any such linked website or any link contained in any linked website. We provide such links only as a convenience, and the inclusion of a link on the website does not imply endorsement of the linked website by LEUF, Inc.. If you provide any personal data through any such third-party website, your transaction will occur on the third party’s website (not this Site) and the personal data you provide will be collected by and controlled by the privacy policy of that third party. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the privacy policies and practices of any third parties. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY DOES NOT ADDRESS THE PRIVACY OR INFORMATION PRACTICES OF ANY THIRD PARTIES.
